Why This Site Exists
Baltimore County has no separate recorder of deeds and no incorporated municipal governments. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County records land instruments and handles marriage licenses, while the Maryland Judiciary and State Archives provide MdLandRec. Maryland SDAT supplies parcel data, the Judiciary publishes Case Search, and the State Board of Elections maintains voter services. Historical research may instead lead to Baltimore County Public Library or the Historical Society of Baltimore County. We organize those official tools, office contacts, and access limits in one reference.
What Readers Can Find
- Pages by record type: public records, voter registration records, and people directories
- Local records offices: the Circuit Court clerk, Maryland SDAT, the county elections board, state vital records, and historical collections
- Practical search paths: court party searches, address-first parcel research, deed indexes, and local directory collections
- Access rules: what the Maryland Public Information Act opens, what other laws restrict, and where to send a records request
Limits on Our Role
Baltimore County People Search is a privately operated reference site. It is not connected with Baltimore County government, any Maryland agency, a court, or a records custodian. Those limits matter:
- We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
- We cannot confirm whether a specific person lives in Baltimore County
- We cannot remove information from government records or third-party databases
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a record applies to your situation
- We cannot promise that each portal, fee, office hour, or procedure remains current
Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
